Whether you're an experienced surgeon or are starting your career and want to grow with us, Tryon Equine Hospital offers a collaborative, professional, long-standing team. The surgeon will complement a team of ten veterinarians, including three board-certified surgeons, one board-certified internal medicine clinician, experienced ambulatory associates and two interns. Patient care is further supported by a team of 15 technicians and five administrative staff. Board Certified surgeons or those accepted for the certifying exam, with a strong interest in sport horse lameness, performance and surgery are invited to apply. The position is open to foreign applicants who have completed The Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) certification program.

Our 17,000-square-foot facility is a regional referral center, serving several surrounding states and our rapidly growing local performance horse population. Three equestrian show facilities are located within 15 minutes of the hospital, including Tryon International Equestrian Center.
