Server Job Description:

Department: Front of House
Job Summary:
The Server is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking guest orders accurately and efficiently, and ensuring the dining experience is seamless and memorable for guests. The Server must have a strong knowledge of the menu and beverage options, work efficiently and effectively to deliver high-quality service to guests, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
· Provide exceptional guest service to ensure a memorable dining experience for guests.
· Take guest orders accurately and efficiently and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery of food. Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the menu, specials, and beverage options. Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
· Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
· Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area and performing cleaning tasks.
· Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards and regulations.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience as a server in a fine dining establishment.
Work Environment:
· The environment requires the team member to work inside in a temperature-controlled environment.
· Required to work weekends and irregular hours.
· Requires working under stressful conditions.
· Must be able to work safely in a noisy area.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be physically able to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours a day.
· Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
· Requires maintenance of the dining area, including moving tables and chairs.
