The Evaluation Officers uses their expertise in data collection, analysis and reporting to understand the impact of CSC funding on child outcomes and uses that knowledge to further improve the lives of children and families in Palm Beach County. Similar to the fields of data analytics and data science, the Evaluation Officer uses a broad range of quantitative and qualitative methods to perform complex statistical analyses, synthesize data, and produce research and evaluation findings to be shared with diverse audiences and stakeholders. This position promotes the use of evaluation from both a system and program perspective and is responsible for building capacity by engaging in learning conversations with a variety of stakeholders with the purpose of transforming data into action. Applying project management skills and interdisciplinary expertise, the evaluation officer is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing internal and external evaluation projects and resources to achieve CSCs organizational goals.


Master's degree in Evaluation, Measurement, Applied Research, Statistics, Education, Public Health, Human Services, Public Administration, Social Science or closely related field, supplemented with five (5) years of professional experience in research, program and/or human services evaluation.

*While not a requirement, preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in rapid cycle evaluation and/or data visualization.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum requirements listed.
