Part-Time Senior Analyst - Institutional Research




Job Description
Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst reports to the Executive Director of Institutional Research and is responsible for compiling, analyzing and transforming quantitative data into critical information that will support sound decisions within the College community. This includes, but is not limited to, the preparing complex data/reports/visualizations/dashboards to respond to standard, recurring reports as well as ad hoc internal and external requests. This information supports the College community with compliance, planning, policy development and decision-making. The position and this office directly
and indirectly support approximately 35,000 students as well as over 2,000 faculty and staff. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and synthesizing College data into clear and concise written reports of College data as well as preparing and/or presenting these analyses to the CSN community.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-4 years related experience to include query writing, data analysis, report development and presentation
  • SQL server experience; query-writing experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Computer Science, Data Science, MIS, or other data and/or analysis-based degree concentration
  • Experience with data warehouse ; dashboard building experience (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Starting Salary:
$32.33 Hourly
