General Finishes is seeking a skilled B2B salesperson to manage the GF sales effort in the South Eastern U.S., a major territory consisting of at least five states. We are a manufacturer of wood coatings including stains, paints and clear topcoats and the nation's leading innovator of water-based wood coating technology. These products are sold across the US and beyond through retail paint, hardware, and woodworking stores.
Compensation:
• $60,000: Base salary of $40,000-$50,000 plus 5% commission (year one income $60,000+) with Six-figure earning potential within 5 years.

• 401k with up to 6% company match (after 6 months).
• Potential for merit-based bonuses.
• Paid travel expenses.
Qualifications:
• Experience with wood coatings is beneficial, but not required.
• A bachelor's degree in a business or chemistry-related field is preferred but not required.
• Must be very personable and comfortable with sales process including making in-person cold-calls.
• Must be comfortable with regular expense paid overnight travel, 90 days+.
• Ability to learn and retain in-depth technical product knowledge.
• Must be organized and professional both in work habits and appearance.
