Corleones’ Bar & Grill – Host/Hostess Job Description

Our Italian inspired menu features fresh, fine Italian meals where it’s all about the flavor and sauce! We are looking for experienced and responsible Host or Hostesses to join the Team and help us provide amazing food, drink and service to our Guests who are treated like family!

Host/Hostess (Host) Position Summary:  Corleones’ Host role is to ensure our Guests are greeted with warmth, seated and served, setting the stage for the Guests’ positive dining experience. With the assistance and supervision of the Managers, the Hosts control the seamless flow of Guests into the restaurant, rotating Guests fairly into different Server sections. Hosts also answer the phones, assist with Take Out orders, clean and move tables and chairs as needed and other Front of the House functions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Professional appearance, and positive attitude.

Good conversational skills, with an outgoing personality.

Able to take direction, multi-task, and have organizational skills.

Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible.

Must work well in a Team environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Be flexible with their schedules, work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Desire to grow and learn within the restaurant and hospitality industry.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent is preferred.

Amiable, outgoing, organized High School students would be considered.

Some restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train.
