Restaurant Manager Job Description:

 

Manager opportunity in the Greater Cincinnati Market Area. Our Restaurant Group is seeking a responsible Manager for the day-to-day operation and management of the Restaurant. They will be responsible for supervising front of house staff and reporting to the General Manager. *** Salary discussion will take place during the interview process.

 

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of front of house staff; includes scheduling, training and supervision.

Oversee that all opening and/or closing duties are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained.

Assists with balancing of all daily and nightly cash drawers and POS.

Assist with inventory and maintenance duties.

Provide excellent customer service to guests and strong leadership to employees. Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines.

Enforce and monitor health, safety, and sanitation standards in their area.

Work closely with the Back of House Manager to provide a seamless guest experience.

Reports directly to the General Manager.

Assist the Bar Manager and provide supervision of the Front of House operations.

 

Job Specifications:

1-2 years restaurant experience, some supervisory experience helpful.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.

Some knowledge of MS programs including Word and Excel.

High standards of personal hygiene and appearance.

Servsafe training preferable.
