Kojo SRQ - Host Job Description

Host Position Summary:  Responsible for greeting all guests with warmth, seated and served, setting the stage for the Guests’ overall positive experience. With assistance and supervision of the Managers, the Hosts control the seamless flow of Guests into the restaurant, rotating Guests fairly into different Server sections.

Responsibilities:

Take reservations or puts them on a waiting list.

Hand out all menus and show guests to their table.

May also handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu. Assist various restaurant staff when necessary.

Assign Guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.

Provide excellent customer service. 

Professional appearance, and positive, warm attitude.

Good conversational skills, with an outgoing personality.

Able to take direction, multi-task, and demonstrate organizational skills.

Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible.

Must work well in a Team environment.
