Job Description

Dependent upon job/team assignment, this position will be responsible for the following:
  • Assist with office operations including receiving, documenting, and tagging assets delivered to the IT dock
  • Assist with printer management activities through Marco third-party service
  • Occasional pickup surplus requests from campus departments of PCs, displays, and equipment
  • Other office, administrative, or computer-related support duties as assigned
Basic Function & Responsibilities:
  • Participate in campus hardware inventory as part of a cross team collaboration with emphasis on data integrity and surplus processing as needed.
Shift

Standardscheduleisbetween8am-5pm - 40 hrs. per week.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired (education or training beyond high school may be substituted for experience).
  • Familiaritywithcomputerhardwareandvariousformsoftechnology
  • Substantialorganizationalandcommunicationskills
  • Excellentattentiontodetailtoensurethorough,accurate,anderror-freework
  • Abilitytoanalyzeandupdatedata
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some experience working in a related technology or business field is preferred.
  • Experience upgrading and/or troubleshooting device firmware or willingness to learn
  • Data entry experience
  • Customer service experience
Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $13.00 to $17.00 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
