Nephrology Care, LLC has been providing advanced nephrology care to patients since 2007. Our expert board-certified physician specializes in the treatment of all aspects of kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, kidney transplants and their associated complications. Our nephrologist also manages patients on hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and patients in the home dialysis program.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant, located in Fremont, NE. The Physician Assistant will work in collaboration with a nephrologist to provide comprehensive patient care, including but not limited to: taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and reviewing laboratory and imaging tests, making diagnoses, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. Additionally, the Physician Assistant may provide education and counseling to patients and their families on various health issues. Two or more years of primary care, internal medicine or urgent care experience preferred. Nephrology training will be provided.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Nebraska
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care
