Delivery Driver
Local Delivery Driver needed. Deliver and pick up products in carts from local businesses throughout the Tri-County area and Savannah, GA. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills, good driving record for last 5 years (5 year MVR within 30 days required), must be able to lift at minimum of 60 pounds. Must be able to safely operate 18FT and 26FT box truck. Must be able to pass a DOT physical. Must be able to pass background check for access to Military Facilities, Felony and Drug Conviction are disqualifying. Rotating weekends, 2 weekends off per month. All routes starts early morning Mon-Sun (2am; 4am; and 6am). Submit resumes through our portal.

Responsible for the distribution of clean, packaged linen to our customers.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES |
|
· Conduct inspection of delivery truck before beginning route · Verify daily delivery plan with Operations Manager regarding any special requirements for scheduled deliveries · Deliver clean, packaged or carted linen following the daily route schedule · Receive soiled linens from customers and return to central laundry in accordance with the Soiled Linen Receipt protocol · Weigh in and document soiled linen carts in accordance with production standards

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |

Ensure that delivery vehicles are delivered to maintenance yard for preventative maintenance and servicing as needed

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB |
|
Valid Driver's license with verifiable 10 year history Must be able to pass Joint Base Charleston background check Clean Criminal Record (Any drug convictions are automatic disqualification) Must pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
