Veterinary Assistant for horse Veterinarian

We are looking for someone (experience with horses is a big plus) to work with the veterinarian as they travel to horse appointments. You would be responsible for writing invoices (dictated by the vet), stocking the truck, helping with sending lab tests out and assisting with the appointments. It is a four day work week, some days you would work in the office, however, most of the time with the Veterinarian. Horse veterinarians go to the horse, so the days are full of traveling locally from appointment to appointment. We are looking for someone detail orientated, computer friendly, able to write while travelling, who enjoys working outside and especially with horses. We are a small clinic with very close relationships with our clients. We work through Centre, Clinton and Blair county with stables and all kinds of horse owners. Good salary, vacation days and Health insurance are included. This is a great job for someone who enjoys being active, working with animals and a lot of variety in a day!
