The University of Utah School of Dentistry ( UUSOD) seeks a dentist with the skills and interest to work as faculty in a clinical setting within a collaborative team at our Population Health Center at Rose Park. We are looking for applicants committed to serving others through compassionate and ethical care for patients and the creation of a humanistic environment for student education and growth. The preferred candidate should have experience delivering care in a trauma-informed environment and be committed to advancing health equity throughout the state of Utah.

Qualified candidates should have a DDS or equivalent degree and qualify for a dental license in Utah. Requirements for a Utah dental license is found on DOPL.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing direct patient care in general dentistry, restorative, fixed, and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. The candidate will collaborate with medical colleagues to provide dental consults during medical visits and will be responsible for accurate record keeping in service of research related to integrated care models, as well as participation in interdisciplinary team meetings and trainings.

Compensation is based on experience, and we offer an excellent benefits package, including immediate vesting of 14.2% to retirement with no match required, for all faculty working more than 50% time. We also offer up to 25 vacation days per year and much more. This position also qualifies eligible federal student loan borrowers for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
