Valley Dairy Restaurants have been around since 1938 and still to this day are family owned 4 generations strong. Currently having 13 locations, and in the process of opening more, we span across 8 counties in Western Pennsylvania specializing in American Breakfast, American Casual Dining, & Ice Cream treats!

VDR has Current and Immediate Opportunities for Part Time & Full Time**:

·         Shift Supervisors/Leaders ($12 - $16 per hour)

This position is defined as an entry level management role and the supporting back bone to our Assistant General Managers and Restaurant General Managers. This role is responsible for successfully executing all floor and supervisory operations of the restaurant with or without a salaried manager on the premises.

Shift Supervisors are put through 4 to 6 weeks of hands-on training, side by side with our AGMs and GMs. This training will help them develop and hone the skills it takes to be an efficient & successful part of our management teams.

This role is a great starting opportunity to work your way up into an AGM and then into a GM position. Ask any member of our management team, we love to promote from within.

What are the Primary Responsibilities for this position?

These positions require someone who is willing to:

·         Help control costs/supplies/labor daily utilizing the manager tools.

·         Monitor food production for accuracy and safety.

·         Provide a safe and quality-controlled workplace in accordance with Health Department guidelines.

·         Assist in & train new hourly candidates.

·         Use proper documentation and outlined procedures.

·         Control/reconcile cash and credit payments.

·         Monitor, coach, & develop all hourly staff members.

·         Communicate and work side-by-side with the AGM & GM as they delegate.

·         Maintain the highest customer satisfaction standards.

·         Open and close the restaurant as needed and designated.

·         Maintain and monitor all hourly staff assigned to a designated shift.

·         Able to perform the duties of all other non-management positions.
