Walter’s Soul Food, serving up some of Atlanta’s best Southern soul food, is seeking dependable friendly Cashiers to join the Walter’s team providing great food, drink and service that keep our guests coming back!

Cashier Position Summary:  The Walter’s Cashier role includes ensuring the guests are greeted with friendliness. They cash out guest checks efficiently and also help bus tables. Cashiers must be engaging and genuinely interested in both the guest experience and the success of Walter’s Soul Food, leaving guests wanting to return!

Requirements/Qualifications:

Greets and welcomes guests, inviting them back as they leave.

Works well in a team environment and independently.

Dependable, punctual, motivated, reliable transportation.

Basic math skills, works well under pressure.

Reliable, flexible work schedule: weekdays, weekends, holidays.

Able to take direction, multi-tasking, organizational skills.

Ability to stand, bend reach and walk for long periods of time.

Ability to lift up to 30lbs.

Professional appearance, positive attitude.

Good conversational skills with an outgoing personality.

Desire to grow and learn within the restaurant and hospitality industry.

High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.

Restaurant/retail experience preferred.
